Biography
Spanish skier Ramón Blanco joined Club Peñalara in Madrid in 1943. Five years later Blanco was part of Spain’s delegation of six Alpine skiers that competed at the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics. He finished 65th in the slalom but did not start in the downhill. Blanco died in September 2021 at the age of 96.
