Biography

Narve Bonna was a ski jumping specialist, known for his aerodynamic style. In his prime only Nordic Combined was contested at the Norwegian Championship and Holmenkollen, and as a rather poor cross-country skier he could never place high. In 1922 Bonna won the jumping section of the combined event, winning the so-called Ladies’ Cup, but was not able to place among the 20 best in the final results. After his skiing career he started a ski factory in his home place Lommedalen outside Oslo, producing the famous Bonna skies.
