Italian ski jumper Mario Bonomo represented the Sport Union Asiago Ski in the 1930s. Bonomo was a talented competitor who won seven medals, including two golds at the national ski jumping championships, as well as medals in the Nordic combined. At the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics he competed in the large hill event but only made one jump, with the distance not being recorded. Bonomo was also a ski instructor and later became a tennis coach.
