Hermann Braun paired Inge Minor at the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics, and finished eighth in the mixed pairs figure skating event. At the 1951 World Championships they finished fifth and in 1954 were seventh. They achieved the same results at the European Championships in the same years. In 1954 Braun and Minor won their only German title. Braun was a baker by profession and worked in his parents’ bakery.
