Polish ice hockey player Kazimierz Bryniarski began playing the sport when he was 5-years-old and went on to become one of the fastest and most talented wingers in the country. Bryniarski played most of his career with Podhale Nowy Targ where he became a crowd favourite. For much of his career he played with a dislocated collarbone, which tended to pop out. When this happened Bryniarski simply popped it back into place and continued with the game. During his domestic career he played in 245 league matches, scoring 296 goals, and twice finished as the league’s top scorer (1958, 1961). Internationally Bryniarski played 44 games for Poland, including competing at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Olympics.
