Jáchym Bulín was a ski jumper who competed at the 1956 Cortina Winter Olympics. He originally raced for LTBK Nový Svět and was later with Tatran, and then Jiskra Harrachov. He was a two-time Czechoslovak champion, winning in 1959 and 1960. Bulín placed 13th overall at the 1957/58 Four Hills Tournament (Vierschanzentournee), with a best placement of sixth in Oberstdorf. Bulín made the Italian team for the 1960 Olympic Winter Games, but an injury prevented him from competing.
Bulín later became a coach, leading the Czechoslovak national team from 1970-78. He then moved to Sweden where he trained their national team, and he would settle in Sweden, living there the rest of his life.
