Italo Casini was part of the Italian nobility who held the title of Count. Casini was also a bobsledder and competed in the two-men and four-men events at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics, finishing sixth and fifth, respectively. He later lived in London and was only 45-years-old when he died in 1937.
