Biography

Léonce Crétin was born in the Swiss town of Rolle and later represented France in international cross-country skiing competitions. Crétin competed in the 18 kilometres event at the Lake Placid Olympics where he finished 19th. Four years later he came 35th in the same race at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Games, in addition to finishing ninth in the 4 × 10 kilometres relay.
