Although he started playing in 1907 with Federation des Patineurs de Belgique, Maurice Deprez skated at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics, and retired after that year. He also competed at the European Championships in 1910, 1911, 1913, and 1914. A center, Deprez was a top goalscorer who later played for Brussels CPB.
Deprez became a hockey administrator and referee, and was Belgium’s delegate to the 1913 LIHG Congress. He officiated at the 1913 French league final and at the 1914 European Championships.
