Thierry Dusserre was selected for the French national biathlon team in 1991, competed in two Winter Olympics, ending his competitive career after the 1998 Nagano Olympics. In addition to his 1994 Olympic bronze medal in the relay, Dusserre won two relay medals at the World Championships, a bronze in 1993 and a silver in 1995. He was a three-time French champion, and had one individual runner-up finish at the Worlds. After he retired he became a biathlon coach.
