Biography

Austrian ice hockey defence Hans Fritz participated at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. The team was eliminated in the group stage. In total, Fritz won 24 international caps, scoring three goals and one assist. Domestically, Fritz played with Klagenfurter AC until 1989 and won eight Austrian national titles. In 1989 he moved to Kapfenberger SV and one season later to Zell am See EK. He ran an ice hockey shop in the Klagenfurt ice hall in the late 1980s.
