Rupert Grasegger finished ninth with the four-man bob Germany 2 at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympic Winter Games. Together with Hans Maurer he also came in 14th in the two-man event. In 1986 Grasegger was awarded the golden needle of the Bavarian Bobsleigh Association. Grasegger owned a rental and selling company for heating mobiles.
