Biography
West German ski jumper and Nordic combined competitor Josef Heumann finished sixth in the large hill team event at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. He also placed 31st and 36th in the normal and the large hill events respectively. At the German nationals, he won five team and three individual gold medals. He later became a physiotherapist with an own practice.
