Romanian ice hockey player Gheorghe Huțan was one of the best goaltenders in the country in the 1970s and 1980s. Huțan spent his career with Dinamo București and later coached the side following his retirement. He also spent the best part of two decades playing for the Romanian national team, including four matches at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics.
