Biography
Biathlete Hans-Gert Jahn won a bronze medal with the East German biathlon relay at the 1970 Worlds. He also won five silver medals with the ASK Vorwärts Oberhof relay squad from 1967-71 at the East German Championships. At the 1968 Grenoble Winter Games the East German relay team finished sixth. After reunification, former sports soldier Jahn became department manager for biathlon at WSV Oberhof 05.
