Biography

Joseph Jany was a French bobsledder who represented the Luchon Superbagnères ski resort. Jany was part of the four-man crew that competed in the second French sled at the 1924 Chamonix Olympics. The team finished the first run in 4:29.01, more than three minutes behind the fastest time set by the Swiss sled. The French crew did not start the second run but then went on to start in the third and fourth runs.
