Biography

A Scottish international, Frank Jardine played all his senior ice hockey with Glasgow Mohawks. A goal-scoring forward, he was the star Mohawks player after the War and, despite scoring regularly for his club side, failed to find the net in his two appearances for Great Britain at the 1948 Olympics. At St. Moritz, Jardine was played as a forward in the 12-3 defeat by Switzerland, and in the final round-robin match against Italy, which Britain won 14-7, he played defence.
