Forward Günther Jochem was a member of the West German ice hockey team that finished sixth in the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics. He played for Krefelder EV from 1951-67, and won the West German Championship with them in 1952. Jochems won 52 international caps, scoring four goals.
