Biography

Thomas Klauser was a West German ski jumper who competed at the 1984 Sarajevo and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. He finished sixth in 1988 with the team, and an unfortunate fourth in the individual large hill event. In 1987 he reached his only podium at the Four Hills Tournament (Vierschanzeetournee) with a second place at Oberstdorf. At the West German nationals, Klauser won six golds and one silver medal. He later became a technical delegate with the International Skiing Federation.
