Ski jumper Sepp Kleisl came 10th in the normal hill event at the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics. Four years later at Cortina d’Ampezzo he was 26th. He was German Champion in the large hill event in 1951 and 1952. From 1970-72 he was chief coach of the West German Nordic combined team and later became an international referee. Kleisl owned a guest house in Garmisch-Partenkirchen called “Gästehaus Kleisl”.
