Rudi Knez was an ice hockey goaltender who played for Yugoslavia at the 1968 and 1972 Olympic Winter Games. He also appeared eight times at the World Championships and was capped 115 times for Yugoslavia. Domestically he played for HK Kranjska Gora and then moved to HK Jesenice. With Jesenice he played in 312 matches and won seven national titles. Knez later became an assistant coach for HK Jesenice.
