Jan Krásl spent his whole active career playing for SK Slavia Praha. Between 1924 and 1930, he played 17 international matches for Czechoslovakia scoring one goal. In addition to the 1924 and 1928 Winter Olympics, he represented his country at the 1926 and 1927 European Championships, winning the silver medal in 1926. He was also a reserve player at the 1930 World Championships. Known as a very speedy skater, Krásl later became an international referee.
