Biography

West German cross-country skier Walter Kuß finished seventh with the 4x10 km relay as her best result at the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. Individually, he placed 17th over 15 km as his best result. Kuß later became a service man for cross-country skiers and biathletes in the national team. Later he founded his own natural health practice. Because Kuß had a malformation of his left hand from birth, he was eligible to compete in the cross-country skiing events at the 2010 Vancouver and 2014 Sochi Paralympics.
