Anthony Mwamba was a Zambian boxer who competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics as a light-welterweight, where he won three bouts before losing in the quarter-finals. Mwamba also competed at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, winning a bronze medal in the welterweight division.
Mwamba turned professional shortly thereafter and fought as a pro through 2000, with a break from 1993-2000 when no bouts are recorded for him. His lifetime record, all fought in Lusaka, Zambia was 6 wins and 1 loss, the loss coming in his final bout against Deo Wanana for the International Boxing Federation Continental Africa welterweight title. Mwamba did hold the Zambian welterweight title in 1992-93 after defeating Vison Njilamada by TKO.
