Josef Lanzendörfer was a Czechoslovak bobsledder. At the 1935 FIBT World Championships Lanzendörfer and Karel Růžička won the silver medal in the two-man bobsleigh. Lanzendörfer competed in two events at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. Once again Lanzendörfer teamed with Růžička in the two-man bobsleigh. The pair finished in 20th place. Lanzendörfer also competed in the four-man bobsleigh but the Czechoslovakian #1 team did not finish the first run.
