Aristide Compagnoni was an Italian cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s and 40s. He débuted with the national team at the 1937 World Championships in Chamonix, winning a bronze in the relay. Compagnoni repeated this World bronze medal finish in the relay at Zakopane in 1939 and in Cortina d’Ampezzo in 1941 (in a Championship not recognized by the International Federation). He competed in the military patrol demonstration event at the 1948 Winter Olympics, when he was a sergeant.
Domestically Compagnoni won six titles, three individual (the last at age 42) and three in team events. He closed his active career in 1952 winning the Staffetta dello Stelvio for the 12th time. He then began a new career teaching cross-country skiing in Santa Caterina Valfurva.
