Biography

Silvana Campos was a Brazilian professional tennis player. Campos competed in the singles tournament at the 1983 Pan American Games where she finished in fourth place. The following year she competed in the singles tournament at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics where tennis was a demonstration sport. Campos lost her first round match to Pascale Paradis of France. Her best performance at a Grand Slam event was when she reached the second round of the 1985 French Open.

In 1990 Campos married Brazilian footballer Sócrates. She was his second wife and they had one son together. In 2016 Campos was part of the torch relay for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
