Biography
At the time of his Olympic selection, Eric Parsons was the only member of the Great Britain squad not to have played in the annual North versus South match. He was, however, a county player and represented Cheshire for more than 10 years. Leading club honours were not forthcoming for Parsons because most of his League hockey was spent in the second division with Disley.
