Little is known of Werner Lohrer’s life. He played his entire career as a defenseman (1933-53) for EHC Arosa in the Swiss National League A, helping them win three Swiss titles in 1951-53. At the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics, he skated alongside his brother Heini. He later became an ice hockey referee and played curling.
