Lyubomir Lyubomirov was an ice hockey defenseman who played for Bulgaria at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. He was known as a rough player who was frequently in the penalty box. Lyubomirov played for Levski Sofia during his entire career from the early 1970s through 1983. He played for Bulgaria at the World Championships seven times from 1974-83, but always in the B or C Division. He later worked as an international linesman at the 1986 and 1987 B World Championships
