Belgian sculptor and painter Maurice Jansegers produced animal and figure sculptures and nudes, mainly in terracotta. He was an artist from near Bruxelles and was named professor at l’Ecole d’Art d’Ixelles in 1950. In the 1960s Jansegers had many exhibitions of his art.
