In 1892, Suzanne Beljambe married French writer and journalist Camille de Sainte-Croix (1859-1915). She became a writer, paintress and sculptor in her own right. In the 1930s, after the death of her husband, she hosted cultural radio programs for children and young people. In 1944, she was awarded the Prix Montyon by the Academie Francaise for her “Comédies et albums de rondes et chansons”.
