Albert Madörin had two major international successes on the international bobsledding scene in the four-man event. His first came at the 1950 World Championships, where he took silver alongside Fritz Feierabend, Stephan Waser, and Romi Spada. For the 1956 Winter Olympics, André Filippini replaced Spada and this new quartet captured bronze at the Games. By then over 50 years old, Madörin retired from the international scene shortly thereafter.
