British artist Thomas Wilkinson studied at Bradford Art School and about 1904 moved to Ipswich where he studied at the Ipswich School of Art. He was a painter, illustrator and sculptor, mainly of portraits, and was a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Wilkinson also worked as an accountant to Electric Supply and Tramways for the Ipswich Corporation.
