German sculptor and woodcutter Werner Primm studied at the Woodcut School in Warmbrunn, and from 1924-30 at the Academy of Arts in Dresden. In 1930 he went to Berlin and continued his education with Edwin Scharff. In the 1940s he frequently exhibited at the Art Society in Hamburg. After World War II he worked as an assistant at the Technical University of Berlin.
