Born in Libya, Tarek Ayad grew up in Bavaria, Germany. He later became a personal trainer and a dedicated athlete. As an Olympic judoka at Sydney in 2000 , Ayad fulfilled a lifelong dream to represent his birth country. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the pool stage in the half-middleweight division.
After the Games, Ayad became a graduated sports scientist. He achieved his professional goal to establish himself as a successful self-employed personal trainer. He provided athletes, private individuals, and companies with passionate and professional guidance in fitness, health, and performance.
