Christian Muñoz was a Chilean sports shooter who competed in pistol events. In 1990 Muñoz won silver in both the 25 metres centre-fire pistol and the 25 metres standard pistol at the South American Games in Lima, Peru. Ten years later he represented Chile at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, placing 36th in the 50 metres free pistol and 40th in the 10 metres air pistol.
Away from sports Muñoz was part of the Chilean Air Force, where he served as an aircraft mechanic for more than 20 years. Tragically, however, he was killed when the air ambulance he was piloting crashed near to Santiago in May 2025.
