Austrian triathlete Johannes Enzenhofer started his sports career as a swimmer and turned to triathlon in 1994. He placed 29th at the 2000 Sydney Olympics when triathlon made its Olympic début. Enzenhofer qualified for the Olympics as national short-distance champion. He placed tenth at the 2001 European Championships.
