Biography

In the 1960s Dorin Munteanu was one of the best Alpine skiers in Romania and won multiple national titles. Munteanu competed in the downhill, slalom, and the giant slalom at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics but failed to finish inside the top-50 in any of those. He later coached skiers at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, and competed at the Masters World Championships, winning gold in 2006.
