Walter Müller was an Austrian cross-country skier and biathlete who participated in the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. He finished 34th in the 20 km biathlon event.
A customer relations officer by profession, Müller died at the young age of 26 years. He was killed in 1966 when hit by an avalanche and fell into a crevasse when training on the “Sulzenauer Ferner”, a glacier in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol, Austria, during a training session.
