Biography
Turkey made its début at the Winter Olympics at the 1936 Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, sending a delegation of six men. Ülker Pamir was one of four Alpine skiers to represent the nation in the combined event. Pamir was the second-best placed Turkish skier after the downhill element, but failed to finish in the slalom.
