Biography

Willy Pick was a Czechoslovak skier who represented the HDW, the Central Federation of German Winter Sports Associations of the Czechoslovak Republic. Pick competed in the combined alpine skiing event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. He finished 23rd in the downhill and 29th in the slalom, to finish 26th overall. His cousin Hans Knahl also competed in the same event at the Games. Pick later emigrated to Venezuela, where he died in 1976.
