Alpine skier Peter Roth participated in three consecutive Winter Olympics, representing West Germany at Calgary in 1988, and Unified Germany at Albertville in 1992 and Lillehammer in 1994. His only result was the 16th place in the slalom event in 1992. In all other races he did not finish.
In 1990, Roth won his only World Cup event, a slalom race in New Zealand. Roth won six national titles between 1981-94 at downhill, giant slalom and slalom. Roth later joined the coaching staff of the German Skiing Association.
