Rinaldo Ruatti was an Italian bobsledder who competed at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics was a part of the golden age of Italian sliders in the 1950s and 60s. Ruatti won three Italian titles with Bob Club Cortina, winning the two-man in 1958 and 1961 and the four-man in 1965. In 1962 he won the World Championship in two-man with Enrico De Lorenzo as his brakeman. Three years later in Sankt-Moritz, Ruatti won silver in the two-man.
Ruatti later served in technical roles with the Italian bobsled federation. He and his wife, Vally Pinazza, ran a popular hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo called Trieste, and served in the trade association. His children and grandchildren later entered the same careers, working as hoteliers. Ruatti also had positions in the administration of public affairs, as a city councillor.
