Norbert Schramm

West German figure skater Norbert Schramm finished ninth at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics although he was among the favorites. He won silver medals at the 1982 and 1983 World Championships and gold medals at the Europeans the same year. In 1981 and 1984 Schramm added two more bronze medals at the Europeans. In 1979, 1981 and 1984 he won the West German nationals.

Directly after the Sarajevo Games Schramm moved to professional figure skating and won the World Championships. He also toured with Holiday on Ice, and later became artistic director at Europa-Park Rust. In 2006 he became chief trainer of the celebrities on the RTL show Dancing on Ice. He was then an event organizer for ice shows and at least a photographer and personal trainer. Starting in 2010 he worked as a real estate agent.
