Biography
Figure skater Tobias Schröter partnered Babette Preußler, representing East Germany at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics finishing 11th. They also competed at the 1984 World Championships, placing ninth, and the European Championships, finishing sixth. When Preußler retired in 1984, Schröter skated with non-Olympian Kathrin Kanitz and won a bronze medal at the 1987 Europeans. Schröter later became a specialist in diagnostic radiology, working at his own MRI practice in Potsdam.
