Biography

Liechtenstein sent a delegation of four athletes to the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. Franz Schädler was one of two skiers from the nation to compete in Alpine skiing at the Games. Schädler was in 54th after the downhill element, more than seven minutes behind the best time, but failed to finish in the slalom.
