Biography

Italian cross-country skier Erminio Sertorelli was active in the late 1920s and early 1930s. In 1931 Sertorelli won the 50 kilometres event at the national championships, earning him a place on the Olympic team. He competed in the same event at the 1932 Lake Placid Games where he came 12th. He also had the honour of being the flagbearer for Italy at the Opening Ceremony. His brothers Cinto and Stefano were also skiers and both competed at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics.
