Biography
Günther Stranner was an Austrian ski jumper who competed at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. He placed 20th both in the normal and large hill event. With the Austrian team he came fifth. In 1985, Stranner was a member of the team winning the silver medal at the Nordic World Championships. At the 1988 Ski Flying World Ski Championships 1988 he surprisingly placed fifth.
