Klaus-Peter Ebeling was an East German flatwater canoeist who finished sixth in the K4-1,000 meters at the 1968 Mexico Olympics. Two years later, he won a silver medal at the World Championships in the K4-1,000, and a bronze medal in the K2-1,000 meters with Joachim Mattern. With Mattern, Eveling also won the East German K2-1,000 title in 1970, and from 1967-70 won four consecutive K4-1,000 titles.
